Gorillaz on Plastic Beach

Ahhhhh!! 3 more daaze (March 9th) until the new Gorillaz album, Plastic Beach is released!!! I can't believe it has been 5 years since Gorillaz last album, Demon Days. 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel defined a whole new meaning of phsychedlic pop with this sick new album. I was really impressed by Damon Albarn with featuring dece artists for the new album like Snoop Dogg, Kano, Bashy, Bobby Womack, Mos Def, De La Soul, Lou Reed, Mick Jones and many more...Check it out.

Psssh oh yeahhhhh! I would never make a post about Gorillaz without posting my favorite song, "Clint Eastwood".

Bob Dylan

This is Music Inn where Bob Dylan used to buy his harmonicas. It is a couple doors down from where he used to live. The store is located in 169 W 4th street in West Village, New York City. Inside there are all sorts of imported instruments jam packed in to the little store. There were instruments hanging from the ceiling, cluttering the walls and floor. Down stairs there are an assortment of old records and things. If you're ever in the area be sure to check it out!

Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi (whata name), known on the streets as KiD CuDi. An all American R&B/Hip Hop artist from Ohio. His first album, A Kid Named Cudi (2008), which included one of his best songs “Day ‘n’ Nite,” This sparked some attention, landing him a spot on the Billboard Hot 100. His new album, Man on the Moon: End the Day (2009) is flat out dope. My top two favorite songs would have to be “Pursuit of Happiness”, which features MGMT and Ratatat and "Enter Galactic (Love Connection Part I)" Cudi’s inspiration comes from The Pharcyde and A Tribe Called Quest(another kick ass band, check it). He has some dope album art. Kid Cudi is not only coming out with a new album, Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution (TBA) but a new upcoming comedy on HBO called “How to make it in America.” Check out some of his jams…

Kid Cudi ~ “Day ‘n’ Nite” (this video is funny shit)
