They are one of my top favorite indie jams of 2009, Matt Johnson from Vermont and Kim Schifino from Rhode Island, A.K.A Matt and Kim, from my home town Brooklyn, New York. They met at Pratt Institute (my future college:) ) in 2004. Some of their first big events began at the Siren Music Festival in Coney Island, Brooklyn and Chicago's Lollapalooza in 2007.
Their best song is Daylight on their Grand Album released on January 20, 2009. the album was named after Grand Street in Brooklyn where they currently live. They wrote this song on their sailing trip in the Long Island Sound (where i currently live!!).
